Many small presses, printing stores and micro publishers, PARTICULARLY ONLINE, quote hourly rates and underplay costs for adjustments. Many have minimum order conditions at expensive rates. We believe in small print runs.

Full interior design and layout
 
Publishing Registrations:

a. ISBN publishing numbers

b. Pricing barcodes

c. Any other identification requested or required

d. CIP completion and registration for orders exceeding 101 books
 
A proof copy to be authorized by the author in advance of ordering the full shipment
 
Perfect-bound copies of the book in the quantity ordered* (Some smaller books are only available as saddle-stitched spine)
 
A PDF copy of the book (for selling online)

 

ONCE WE HAVE HAD A DISCUSSION TO VERIFY YOUR NEEDS, ALL YOU NEED TO SEND US IS:

 
1 A manuscript in any digital (i.e. Microsoft Word) format. Creating the layout of your book, to your specifications, is included in the flat fee.
 
2 A cover image in high quality (300 dpi) jpeg format – Click here to see our recommendations
 
3 If you want images in your book, we will need high quality copies. Once again, feel free to ask.

THAT’S IT!
 

If you want to add a brief bio and a good quality author photo, even some advance book reviews, to your back book cover, these are also included in the flat fee.

Once we have agreed on the process and timing, we ask for ONE THIRD of the price in advance and the balance will be due upon delivery of the books.

(Please note that if you are supplying your BOOK COVER in a print-ready format, contact us for the design specifications. This a simple instruction, but could save you money. Check with us BEFORE hiring someone to create your book cover, and we’ll give you the specifications.)
